by Rachana J. aka Fillion I returned to town after searching for Gem of Seeing in Marshview for Eliza. I know they will fetch a pretty price and I could use the funds. Being cut off from my family has been harder than I thought but just as enlightening as I had hoped. I ran into an odd group who coincidentally was heading to Alderheart themselves with Eliza! I tagged along and did my best to guide them in the right direction. The journey to Alderheart presented many challenges as we travelled off the path to avoid bandits. I did my best to entertain with my lute and educate them about the vast forest, but they do not seem like the most cultured bunch. We ran into some angry sprites, a fire elemental, bandits, and more! At least I have stories to tell in the future and not a single scratch on me. Once we arrived in Alderheart I followed the group around on their errands and avoided everyone in the city that I know. So far, so good. I can’t tell if I should visit Mum and Dad… I miss the food and our library. Maybe there’s a book in our collection with a clue about the Gem of Seeing. It seems very powerful, certainly important enough to write about. Instead I will have to continue living below the life I deserve… for now I will stay with Paikea’s family while I am in Alderheart. They seem nice enough, although I can see that they’re suspicious of me. A Vulpin as elegant as I am, I don’t blame them.
I need to continue searching for the Gem of Seeing, I mustn’t lose focus now. There is one intriguing character by the name of Midden Heap with mysterious power who might have a connection with the gem or with the unrest in Humblewood. I am free to explore and if I win the affections of the common people that would be an added bonus. I hope this group knows what they’re doing… I don’t think I trust them just yet. They are mostly just convenient and they give me some protection as I travel. The woods become more and more dangerous every day.

West MarchesPlayers have constant opportunity to create characters and explore them in an open world setting. PCs drive the objective of each session, and have the flexibility to drop in and out of different parties. It’s too much fun to say no to. ArchivesCategories
